While The Oscars will go on without a host this year, the first round of presenters have been announced. More nominees will be named in the coming weeks, and as previously reported, all five of the Best Song nominees will be performed during the telecast.
The presenters announced so far include Awkwafina, Daniel Craig, Chris Evans, Tina Fey, Whoopi Goldberg, Brie Larson, Jennifer Lopez, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Amandla Stenberg, Charlize Theron, Tessa Thompson and Constance Wu.
Despite the unconventional setup this year, Academy CEO Dawn Hudson called it an “important moment in Oscar history. This year’s show maintains Oscar traditions and is also evolving to reflect our global audience.“

“The Oscar nominees have generated tremendous worldwide attention through their captivating stories, achievements and performances,” said producer Donna Gigliotti and co-producer/director Glenn Weiss. “We want to give the public an opportunity to once again experience the moments that have moved us all. It is a celebration of our universal love of movies.“
The 91st Oscars will be held on Sunday, February 24, 2019, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, and will be televised live on the ABC Television Network at will kick off at 8:00 pm EST.
