Katherine Heigl and Patrick Wilson have signed on to headline the black comedy North of Hell, says a story at Deadline. Darko Entertainment will produce the film with Anthony Burns (Skateland) writing and directing.
Based on a short story by Carlo Allen, North of Hell has Wilson playing a businessman, Don Champagne, whose life would be perfect if it weren’t for his domineering wife (Heigl) controlling his every move.
Wilson can next be seen in James Wan’s The Conjuring while Heigl plays a role in the ensemble comedy The Big Wedding.
North of Hell will be produced by Burns, A.J. Buckley, Jeff Culotta and Sean McKittrick with Andrew J. Champagne and Edward H. Hamm Jr. executive prodcuing.
Production is slated to begin in April in Louisiana.
