Jennifer Lawrence Is Back with Bradley Cooper and David O. Russell

Apparently, Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper just can’t stay away from each other.

After making David O. Russell’s Silver Linings Playbook together, a movie that got both actors Oscar nominations–Lawrence’s second and Cooper’s first–they reunited for Oscar winning Danish filmmaker Susanne Bier’s upcoming Serena.

Now comes word from Deadline that Lawrence has been cast to reunite with Cooper and Russell in the latter’s Untitled Abscam Drama, formerly called “American Bullsh*t,” which stars Christian Bale (who won an Oscar for Russell’s The Fighter). Written by Russell with Eric Singer, it takes a look at the FBI’s Abscam sting that took place in the ’70s to take down a number of United States congressmen.

Because Lawrence will play Bale’s wife in the movie, she may not have as many scenes with Cooper this time.

Russell’s next film is being produced by Charles Roven and Richard Suckle and financed by Megan Ellison’s Annapurna Pictures (Zero Dark Thirty) for release by Sony Pictures. The ensemble cast also includes Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner.
